Our dinner comes to about 2 tbsp: 1 tbsp. of dry food and 2 tsp. of fresh foods such as fish and veggies. We don't usually eat all of it -- we like to pick and choose. Both of us are svelte (< 300g) hedgies who wheel every night.

1/2 tsp diced, skinned apples twice a week or as a daytime treat (hand feed 2-3 pieces)
Other Fruits: Speaking of apples, we don't mind finding a few bits of almost any fruit. We've recently enjoyed Grapes, Tomatoes, Nectarines, Cherries, Strawberries
Dice 1/2 tsp of whatever. Try to avoid the skins, which some hedgies won't digest well (runny poops -blech!)
Rice 1/4 tsp every now and then if it's spiced
(Basically, he only eats this if there happen to be rice-based leftovers)

Mealworms Wake us up gently every evening by cooing our names and uncovering our blankets. We will shuffle and stretch out and come over to inspect your fingers and hopefully find a mealie waiting there.

Bugs'n'Berries Place 2-3 pinches in food every now and then -- They don't seem to care one way or the other. Moisten with one of the supplements (e.g., Ferrotone)
Waxworms Why are they so big? They taste fine, but don't expect to see us grinning afterwards like we do with mealies.
